Meatloaf (Bolo de Carne) – Recipe
The Meatloaf is one of the most popular recipes from the daily kitchen, usually passed from mother to daughter. It is an ideal solution for the daily menu.

Ingredients
– 1 French bread, diced (just the inside)
– 1/4 cup of warm milk
– 1 onion cut into 4 pieces
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 pound of minced meat
– 1 egg beaten
– 2 tablespoons of Parsley
– 8 chopped green olives
– Oregano for taste
– 4 tablespoons of Worcester sauce (English sauce)
– Salt for taste
– black Pepper, freshly ground for taste
– 12 strips of bacon
Any milk is ok, whole, skimmed or semi, which ever you prefer and also this recipe is with a low fat mince beef.
How to prepare
Preheat the oven to a medium-high heat (210 ° C).
In a Blender mix the bread crumbs, milk, onion and garlic.
Pour this mixture into a bowl, add the mince beef, egg, parsley, olives, oregano, English sauce, salt and black pepper and knead well with hands.
Set aside.
Line a flat surface with plastic film, spread the slices of bacon vertically, one beside the other, and place the beef mixture on top.
With the help of the plastic film model the meat into a cylinder shape.
Remove the plastic film and arrange the meat loaf in a baking dish.
Bake for 50 minutes and serve immediately with white rice and green salad or a side dish of your choice.
